An Ideal Week, Bully-Free (With Commentary from Beyond the Veil)…
My ideal week starts the same way every day: with Heff waking up at daylight (even though the damn dog can’t see!), demanding breakfast like the undisputed king he is. Nothing, not tea, not painting, not even a thought, happens until Heff is fed.
Once His Majesty is satisfied, the others weigh in. Granny Frass, calling in from beyond, warns me not to let “the four-legged overlord” run the household. Sir Percival, smug as ever from the other side of the veil, stretches on some celestial windowsill and offers sly spiritual advice no one asked for. Darcifer, paws firmly planted in the afterlife, barks rebelliously: “Stop listening to the cat and the crone, just get outside and live.”
The rest of the day and week would be mine to paint, write, wander, and laugh with people I love to spend time with. Evenings would be soft and simple, filled with good food and better company, while the chorus from beyond occasionally pipes up with commentary.
And most importantly: the whole week would be Bully-free. No intimidation, no nonsense, just freedom, creativity, and a bit of mischief from this world and the next.
