Look around you, And ask yourself: Are you living, Or are you just part of their system?
Do you ever stop and think about the governments of the world? Honestly, do they really have our best interests at heart? Because from where I’m standing, all I see is a system built to tax us, poison us, and control us. And the maddest part of it all is how so many people still defend it, as if it’s some kind of benevolent parent guiding us through life.
But let’s get real. From the moment we’re born, it feels like we’re being funneled into a cage. School teaches us to follow rules, not think freely. Work drains us, and we hand over huge chunks of our effort to taxes. Food and water, the very basics of life, are tampered with. Then there are the endless rules, regulations, and restrictions on what we can and can’t do. Tell me, how is that freedom? It looks a whole lot more like prison with invisible bars.
Here’s the question that keeps circling in my head: were we born for this? Were we really put here on this earth just to be controlled, monitored, and told how to live? Or is this cage just a man-made system, one that keeps us too busy, too tired, and too distracted to notice the truth?
Humans aren’t meant to live in cages. We’re explorers, creators, and community builders. Deep down, I think we all feel it. But when the cage becomes “normal,” most people stop noticing the bars. They defend them. They even thank the system for keeping them “safe.”
So why can’t people see it? Maybe it’s fear. Maybe it’s comfort. Maybe it’s just easier to stay asleep than to wake up and face the reality that we’ve been prisoners all along.
The truth is simple: the cage only exists if we accept it.
