The Cage They Call Normal…

Look around you, And ask yourself: Are you living, Or are you just part of their system?

Do you ever stop and think about the governments of the world? Honestly, do they really have our best interests at heart? Because from where I’m standing, all I see is a system built to tax us, poison us, and control us. And the maddest part of it all is how so many people still defend it, as if it’s some kind of benevolent parent guiding us through life.

But let’s get real. From the moment we’re born, it feels like we’re being funneled into a cage. School teaches us to follow rules, not think freely. Work drains us, and we hand over huge chunks of our effort to taxes. Food and water, the very basics of life, are tampered with. Then there are the endless rules, regulations, and restrictions on what we can and can’t do. Tell me, how is that freedom? It looks a whole lot more like prison with invisible bars.

Here’s the question that keeps circling in my head: were we born for this? Were we really put here on this earth just to be controlled, monitored, and told how to live? Or is this cage just a man-made system, one that keeps us too busy, too tired, and too distracted to notice the truth?

Humans aren’t meant to live in cages. We’re explorers, creators, and community builders. Deep down, I think we all feel it. But when the cage becomes “normal,” most people stop noticing the bars. They defend them. They even thank the system for keeping them “safe.”

So why can’t people see it? Maybe it’s fear. Maybe it’s comfort. Maybe it’s just easier to stay asleep than to wake up and face the reality that we’ve been prisoners all along.

The truth is simple: the cage only exists if we accept it.

  1. Yes M,
I keep saying it, Stockholm syndrome is a real thing, and many are under it’s influence.
Sadly most are happy to follow those in a government office or White coats. 🤷‍♂️
I agree with you, that cage is only as affective as those who allow themselves to be locked in it.

    M, question?
Ever noticed when you post on certain topics/subjects, you’re more likely to hear the birds and crickets? 🤣🤣🤣😉

Thanks for sharing up doses of reality.
    Much Love. 🫂

    1. Too true, Phil. That cage only works if people agree to sit inside it. And yes 😂 I’ve noticed the sudden sound of the birds when a post hits a nerve… silence can be louder than words sometimes! Thanks for being real, also. Much love right back to you xx

    1. Thanks, Scott 🧡 It really does feel like one of those questions that keeps circling back around, maybe because we’re still trying to answer it properly. 🌍

Yes, thank you for keeping us safe by locking us in our homes for 2 years, through infinitely renewing 2 week intervals 😂

    1. I know! Don’t get me started on that one 😂 Looking back, it does feel surreal… like we were all grounded by the universe for reasons still up for debate. However, as for the powers that be, they knew exactly what they were doing!
