
Well, absolutely none!
I used to fall for it, sure, the whole brand-name this and brand-name that. But I soon caught on that all I was doing was paying good money to walk around as free advertising for them. Why would I? I had no intention of being a human billboard.
Brands try to sell us an image, a status, or a tribe to belong to, but the truth is, it’s all smoke and mirrors. They don’t care about us, they care about profit. And the more people buy into it, the more they push the illusion that we need them.
I don’t. I’d rather wear something with no name at all and still know exactly who I am. I don’t need a logo to define me. I’d rather be branded by my own life, my choices, my scars, my laughter, my stories. That’s my label.
