So, you think you went to the shop for milk?
Ha!

That milk was nothing but a decoy. The real mission? To stand there, boots on the ground, heart open, and let someone spill their soul without feeling like a burden.

One minute you’re thinking about tea and toast, the next you’re holding a piece of someone’s heart in your hands. And I know what’s running through your head: Why me? Was I meant to hear that? Am I supposed to do something?

So don’t go tying yourself in knots looking for a grand purpose. Sometimes the purpose is the moment itself. Sometimes the prayer is the ear, not the words.

Say a quiet prayer for her. Pour your tea. And thank the heavens above that the petrol station stocked full-fat organic milk and divine timing.
