Daily Writing Prompt: How would you describe yourself to someone?
Well now, that depends. Are we talking to a stranger, a soul connection, or the postman? Because I shapeshift depending on the moon and the madness.
But alright. Here it goes.
I’m a contradiction in comfy shoes. A redheaded, rebel-hearted wildflower who can talk to animals, trees, and ghosts (and sometimes prefers them to people). I’ve got one foot in this world and the other somewhere in the cosmos, probably arguing with Mercury retrograde.
Some say I’m a bit of a black sheep. Granny Frass would say I’m “spirited.” Fanny McFox would call me “difficult.” But I just think I was born allergic to bullshit and authority.
I’m soft where it matters, fierce where it’s needed, and I’ve got a laugh that could wake the dead, which is handy, since they tend to visit.
I believe in signs, soul contracts, strong tea, and the healing power of a good swear.
So how would I describe myself?
Sun in the wrong place, moon in a mess, and rising like a phoenix on roller skates. Still figuring it out. Still showing up. Still hoping someone brings snacks.
