Today’s Message From Granny Frass…“Not Every Rattle Is a Storm”

A Message from Granny Frass
“For when the world feels noisy, and you’re wondering what to do next…”

Now you hush that busy mind of yours for just a minute and let me speak. I can see you thinking five steps ahead and three behind, wearing yourself out trying to fix what was never yours to carry. That’s a fast way to forget who you are, love.

Not every rattle is a warning. Sometimes it’s just the wind knocking to remind you that change is near, not danger. You’re not meant to stay stuck in the same old corners just because it’s what others expect of you. You’ve got your own compass now. Use it.

You’ve already been through the kind of storms that would’ve folded a lesser soul. You’ve danced through grief, laughed through rage, and stitched yourself back together with nothing but hope and a good mug of tea. So don’t you dare forget that strength when someone tries to dim your light.

And if trouble comes knocking wearing a familiar face? Well, bless their heart, but don’t invite them in. You can love someone from a distance. Boundaries aren’t unkind, they’re a kind of grace you give yourself.

Take your time today. Sit in your own stillness. Drink something warm. Light a candle just because. Say no without explaining. Say yes only when it sings in your chest. You’re allowed to choose peace, even if it ruffles a few feathers.

And remember: I’m still keeping an eye, whispering in your ear now and then when the path gets muddy. Trust your gut. It’s me in there, too.”

  1. M,
I could sit and talk to Granny Frass for hours…or her sassy grand daughter.😉
Those words of wisdom are absolutely correct.
There are situations we have to deal with, and others, especially after trying to, we don’t.🤷‍♂️
I’m a people person, so yeah, it’s disappointing when people show you, that side of them, but I’ve become a master in learning how to love from a distance.
Also, while I’m not a gangster or terrorist, I’m a very dangerous individual to those people, because I come armed with ‘the pen’ (Laptop) and we know how mighty that is….don’t we?😉

Head up, stay positive and focused on the good.

    Much Love.
    Phil. 😗😗

    1. Phil,

You’d get on famously with Granny Frass. She’d have you pegged in five minutes flat, offer you a cuppa, then proceed to read you for truth and healing in the same breath. 😂 You might even survive the session with your ego intact… might.

As for her sassy granddaughter… well, she comes with the same no-nonsense wisdom, but with a touch more fire and far less patience for fools. She’s learned that some situations aren’t meant to be fixed — especially after giving it a fair go.

Loving from a distance is an art, and sounds like you’ve mastered the brushstrokes. And yes, armed with the pen (or the trusty laptop), we’re lethal in the best way. Truth has a way of landing where it needs to. The ones who underestimate that usually regret it.

Head’s up, soul’s intact, and the focus is still forward. Thanks for walking alongside with that steady voice of yours.

      Much love🧡
      Mae xx
