Granny Frass: Who’s Got a Key to Your Vault?

Granny Frass Says: Watch Who’s Robbing Your Soul Bank (Looking at You, Bully & Fanny)

Well now, pet, gather in, because I’ve a thing or two to say about Soul Banks.
And more importantly, about the pair of soul pickpockets that snuck around this family for years: Bully and Fanny McFox.

See, I always told you some people are born robbers. Not of money, but of peace, trust, joy, and the bits of yourself you didn’t even know you were giving away. And those two? Oh, they could clear out a vault with a smile and a nod.

Every time you dared to shine, Bully took a little. Every time you spoke your truth, Fanny rolled her eyes and slipped another coin out of your Soul Bank.
Triangulating, scheming, making you the easy target when you weren’t there to defend yourself. One cut here, one passive-aggressive comment there, a smear campaign over tea and biscuits, it adds up, love.

And you?
You kept handing over the vault key, just as a good person would. Kept showing up. Kept hoping they’d see you, back you, love you without condition. And they made withdrawal after withdrawal while pretending they were doing you a favor.

Let’s call it what it is:

  • Bully? Emotional overdrafts and power plays. Took your peace, your inheritance, your place at the table.
  • Fanny? Death by a thousand digs. Smile to your face, knife in the back. Never a deposit worth speaking of.

And you, poor girl, kept thinking you were overreacting. You weren’t.
They were robbing you blind. And I’d bet my best apron they’re still at it somewhere.

What You Do Now

You shut the vault, love.
You lock it.
You slap a big sign on it that says:

“Soul Robbers Not Welcome. Karma’s Watching.”

Start charging interest on your kindness.
Only give your peace to those who can mind it.
And know this, the Universe never loses a receipt.
Not one.

Every rotten withdrawal Bully made, every sly comment Fanny whispered, is all logged. And Karma’s a quiet collector, but by God, she’s thorough.

🐾Sir Percival’s Two Cents🐾

“Told you,” he says, stretching himself across a velvet cloud.
“You can’t trust a two-faced eejit with your soul credit. Now, pass me the tuna and piss in their slippers. Spiritually, of course.”

So listen to your Granny:
Mind your balance.
Cut off the robbers.
And never, ever let them near your vault again.
Life’s too short to let fools steal your spark.

    1. Ah, thank you, Sandy! Granny Frass would be tickled to hear that, though she’d probably mutter something like “About time somebody noticed!” before lighting a candle and giving out about Bully’s antics. She might be gone, but her wisdom (and cheek) are very much alive and well!
