Daily Writing Prompt…

The oldest thing I use daily is my intuition. It’s older than time, older than any book or heirloom you could hold in your hand. It’s that quiet voice in my gut, that nudge in the chest when something feels off, that warmth in my bones when it’s right. It’s been with me through every storm and sunny day, and though I’ve ignored it a time or two, it’s never steered me wrong when I chose to listen.
If we’re talking physical things though, well, I live on Faurel Hill, and some of the stones out here have stories older than my bloodline. I swear the land itself hums with old secrets, and if you sit still long enough, you can almost hear them. So maybe it’s not just my intuition I use daily, but the ancient memory of this place beneath my feet.
